Story
Mölle - The idyllic summer paradise consisting of a rocky coastline and a small harbor, only a mile or so away from the dramatic cliffs of Kullaberg and its practical golf course, has over time changed from a sleepy fishing community to a sprawling tourist destination. All of this is due to a special tucked away cape where both men and women would swim and relax together in the early 1900’s, which was virtually unheard of at this time.
There is still a lingering mystique over picturesque Mölle to this day and especially the infamous swimming area. This is where the idea of Scandinavian Black was born. Inspired by the ocean, mystique and sinful nature of the hidden swimming cape of Mölle. Two scents have been created with the inspiration of Mölle. Pure Archipelago - a refreshing hint of pomegranate along with other natural ingredients evoke the feeling of being somewhere in the vast Swedish archipelago where forest, rocky outcrops and the ocean meets. The second scent Black Orchid is comprised of fresh vanilla and is directly inspired by the unique fauna of the Kullaberg natural preserve which lies at the tip of the peninsula close to Mölle.
'Where it all began' – the first place in Sweden where men and women would swim and relax together in the ocean – The location that inspired the start of Bed & Bath. This photograph captured by Peter P Lundh would end up becoming the first logo of Bed & Bath.
